• You will need pencils, paper and clipboards.

• You could spend time looking at the reeds
• Where do they grow?
• Do they grow near water?
• What are the fluffy bits on top of the reeds
  called?
• How did they get there in the first place?

Study the creatures in the reed bed

• You need to be quite round the reed bed to study
  the animals.
• You might even see a kingfisher.

• When you are pond dipping you need to be careful
  about the water and be careful with the creatures.
