About Stone Fox

• Stone Fox is a sad story and happy story.
• Little Willy has a big job to do. His grandfather
  refuses to get out of bed, so it is up to Willy
  to save their farm from the tax collector.So he
  entered a dog sled race to get money and the pay
  taxes, So hes going to meet Stone Fox who has
  never lost a race.

• Willy is brave, courageous and he tries to do
  everything for his grandfather.He cares a lot
  about his grandfather.

• He is funny and plays the harmonica to Willy
  every night. But, not anymore because he is sick.
  Grandfather wants to die because he has to pay
  taxes for his farm.

• Searchlight(Dog)
• She is brave and strong. Her name means fast as
  light. Everyday she helps Willy and plays with
  him.

• Stone Fox
• His face looks like stone. Hes tall and he has
  never lost a dog sled race. Later he helps little
  Willy by letting him win the race.

• Farm in Wyoming
• The farm in Wyoming is grandfathers small potato
  farm. He grows potatoes and sells them so he can
  buy some food and make food.

• The racers, Willy and Stone Fox were racing in
  the forest around the town.

• The bank is where little Willy went to get 50
  dollars so he could enter the race.

• Stone Fox was living in an old deserted barn. In
  the old deserted barn Stone Fox hit Little
  Willys face.

• Grandfather owed 500 dollars to the tax
  collector.
• Little Willy has to take care of grandfather and
  enter the race to get 500 dollars.
• Stone Fox is a tough racer and Little Willy cant
  beat him.

Easy solutions to part of problem.

• Doc Smith and Lester were cheering for Willy.
• Little Willy had a dog sled and Searchlight.
• Little Willy had 50 dollars to enter the race.

Happy ending
Sad ending

• I thought it was a happy ending when little
  Willy won the race and paid the taxes.
• I also liked it when grandfather got better from
  being sick.

• I thought it was a sad ending when Searchlight
  ran too fast and had a heart attack then died.

What I like about the book
What I didn't like about the book

• What I liked about the book was when Stone Fox
  helped little Willy win the race.
• I also liked when little Willy and Searchlight
  helped with growing the potatoes and crops.

• What I didnt like about the book is when
  grandfather was sick and he had to pay 500
  dollars to the tax collector.
• I also didnt like when Stone Fox punched Willy
  in the eye.
