• Jesus said, A time is coming and in fact has
  come when you will be scattered, each to your own
  home. You will leave me all alone

• When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the
  table with the Twelve. And while they were
  eating, he said, Truly I tell you, one of you
  will betray me.

  all fall away on account of me, for it is

  night, before the rooster crows, you will disown
  me three times.

• He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along
  with him, and began to be sorrowful and troubled.
  
• Then he said to them, My soul is overwhelmed
  with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and
  keep watch with me.

• Then he returned to his disciples and found them
  sleeping. Couldnt you men keep watch with me
  for one hour? he asked Peter.

• Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them
  The one I kiss is the man arrest him and lead
  him away under guard.
• Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, Rabbi! and
  kissed him. The men seized Jesus and arrested him.

• Then he began to call down curses, and swore to

• They bound Jesus, led him away and handed him
  over to Pilate.

  Barabbas to them them. He had Jesus flogged, and

  together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And
  they began to call out to him, Hail, king of the
  Jews!

  And when they had mocked him, they took off the
  purple robe and put his own clothes on him.
• Then they led him out to crucify him.

  hurled insults him, shaking their heads

  sneered at him. They said, He saved others let
  him save himself if he is Gods Messiah, the

• And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in
  a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lema sabbacthani?
  (which means, My God, my God, why have you
  forsaken me?).
