• Ecstasy has many different names-
• E, Doves, XTC, Disco biscuits, Echoes, Hug drug,
  Burgers, Fantasy, Mitsubishis, Dolphins,
  Rolexes, Dennis the menace and biscuits, Adam,
  Versace, Superman, TT.
• Chemically Known as MDMA

The cost The law

• Ecstasy can be bought for about 20
• Ecstasy is a class A drug and you can be arrested
  in possession of it.
• You can be in serious trouble with the law if you
  are caught selling or taking it.

The Risks!!

• Users can be left feeling tired and depressed for
  days
• There is a risk of overheating and dehydration if
  they dance energetically without taking breaks or
  drinking water.
• It has been linked to kidney and liver problems
• Experts are concerned it may cause brain damage
  and depression in later life

More Risks

• Mixing Viagra with Ecstasy may increase the risk
  of overheating
• As Ecstasy starts to work (known as coming up)
  they may feel jaw tightening, sickness, sweating
  and an increase in heart rate.
• THERE HAVE BEEN ABOUT 60 ECSTASY RELATED DEATHS
  IN THE U.K

The Effects

• The user feels alert and in tune with their
  surroundings
• Sound, colour and emotions can seem much more
  intense
• An energy boost from Ecstasy can make you dance
  for hours
• The effects last anything from 3 hours to 6
  hours.
• Feeling of warmth and love for everyone around
  you.
• Starts working after 20 minutes
• Dry mouth
• Heart rate increases
• May give the user a headache and muscles throb
• Could make you hallucinate
