• A nonenveloped, icosahedral structure ???? 70-90
  ????????, composed of 252 capsomers, surrounding
  a core 60-65 nm in diameter (Fig 1 and 2)
• Capsomers are arranged in triangular faces with
  six capsomers along each edge. There are 240
  nonvertex capsomers (hexons) and 12 vertex
  capsomers (penton bases) (Fig 1 and 2).
