Wolves

• A pack of wolves.

• Wolves are very clever
• animals. They have big
• eyes so they can see in
• the night. They can
• howl very loudly to warn
• the pack.

Types of wolves

• There are all different
• types of wolves, like the
• Alaskan wolf. If you go
• to a safari park you
• should see wolves.

• An Alaskan wolf on top of some rocks

Clay Wolves

• On day 1 we made clay wolves I really enjoyed
  making my wolf, I cant wait to paint my wolf.
  Helen came in to help us and showed us her wolf
  it was brilliant. Everyone's wolves were
  brilliant!!!

Facts we have learned.

• We have learned that Espigueiros means a small
  shed on stilts and that it is used to wind dry
  corn!
• We also learned that dogs in Portugal who wear
  spiked collars are specially trained to guard
  livestock. The spikes are there to help protect
  the dogs from attacks from wolves.
• We learnt that wolves became extinct in England
  in the 1700s.

Brazilian Drumming!!!!!!!

• I really liked Brazilian drumming. I went on two
  drums and learnt two different beats
• Freddie and Francisco were really good I now
  know how to do a bit of Brazilian drumming.

• Watched DVD about wolves

• Decorated the recipe for Honey Cakes
• Decorated bag to take the Honey Cakes home
• Baked the Honey Cakes

Portuguese Cakes

• On Wednesday we made Portuguese honey
• cakes. Kate and Tom helped us - they were
• very nice!!!!!

Painting Clay Wolves

• On Thursday we painted our clay wolves
• and stuck bits back on which had fallen off.
• It was fun and very messy!
