Reading Achievement
  • Reading achievement is positively related to the
    amount of time spent reading. Findings from the
    Nations Report Card on Reading consistently
    demonstrate the correlation between pages read
    and reading proficiency. (Campbell, Donahue,
    Reese, and Phillips, 1996).
  • The more students read, the better they read.
