Cancer On A Chip
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death and
illness both worldwide and in Singapore. However,
recent advances in medical research have led to
new hopes to cancer patients and their families.
This talk focuses on how the recently completed
Human Genome Project, combined with
high-throughput robotic technology, has led to
the creation of new methods to diagnose and treat
cancer. The knowledge unearthed by this research
may one day lead to the ultimate cancer cure.
