So you expect to be a Professional Athlete? .
Here are some facts about professional athletes.
Nationally, approximately 971,000 high school
students play football. 65,000 of those students
go on to play college football. Of those 65,000,
875 sign NFL contracts. 300 of those actually
make the roster. Thats .03, and the numbers
are even smaller for other professional sports.
Also, the majority of professional athletes go to
college.

Great Expectations for Tennessee Scholars
Tennessee Scholars are required to meet all
graduation requirements of the State of
Tennessee plus

• 4 years of Math( Algebra 1 and 11, Geometry, and
  a one higher math) Bridge math will not count
  toward TN Scholars requirements
• Biology and Chemistry and one other lab Science
  (Physics strongly preferred)
• 2 career technical classes (One must be in a
  computer applications class)
• 2 Foreign Language Classes
• 1 Fine Arts
• Additional expectation requirements of
  95attendance, no out-of school suspensions, 40
  hours community service, and maintain a C grade
  point average
