  • Orders placed online or over the phone.
  • Staff inputs orders into FAMIS.
  • Prints hardcopy of order
  • Placed into appropriate service managers box.
  • Manager distributes work order.
  • Service crew completes work order.
  • Close out completed order in FAMIS and notify
    customer.

  • Similar to original process but slightly
    different.
  • After service manager has distribute work orders
  • Service crew prioritizes work orders.
  • Service crew acquires supplies to perform
    requested work.

The Dilemma
  • Paper Waste is created.
  • Printed orders are lost or destroyed.
  • -Lost orders will take excessively long period of
    time to be completed.
  • Double booking same orders.
  • Keeping track of work order status.
  • Uncertainty of completed work order.

  • Terminal maintained by head manager of service
    crew.
