    that? Cash, Check or Charge?

If you are unable to pay the deposit for todays
services I will have you make arrangements with
the Financial Counselor.

COPAY
A fixed amount an insured patient is expected to
pay for medical services at the time of the
visit. Copay amounts are almost always included
on the patients insurance card and may indicate
a different copay amount required for Primary
Care, Specialty Care and Ancillary services such
as Lab and X-Ray. Only the Primary Care copay is
loaded into our FFUQ.
DEPOSIT
When a patient is determined to be Self Pay, they
are required to pay a 50 deposit due for todays
services. Inform them that we accept Cash, Check
and/or Charge Card, and that an ATM is available
if needed.
PRIOR BALANCE
Any amount visible on the Patient Services screen
under the Financials heading, labeled Current
Statement Balance, indicates an unpaid balance
that we should attempt to collect.
