Welcome to the Chemwatch Chemgold II web based
program. This is a Level I demonstration on the
use of this database.
2These are the list of functions which you may
search the database by
3Click on this search button after typing in the
Chemical name
Let us start by performing a search for the
chemical Benzene
4A hit list of chemicals will be shown as seen
To get to the MSDS, just click on the hyperlink
here
5Once the MSDS is fully loaded, you may navigate
the MSDS by moving your mouse curser to the
Sections in yellow.
6If you wish to select a different country format
or language, click on the Options
Move your mouse over to the relevant section of
your interest and click on it to get to the
information.
7Move your mouse over to the country format and
language of your choice and click on it
8For this example, we will select Asia,
Thailand and the Thai language.
When you are happy with the selection, you will
have to click on the Save button to load up the
MSDS.
9After the MSDS is loaded, you may close this
window to move to the other functions
10To access to Labels and Custom labels, click on
the Label button of the Chemical of your
interest.
11Lets choose this template as an example.
In this templates gallery, you will be presented
with a selection of pre-designed labels which can
be used for any of the chemicals in the database
12From the label menu, you can have access to the
Mini MSDS
This is the print screen menu where you can do
your final adjustment before sending it to the
printer
13This is the one page Mini/Summary MSDS which is
available in 31 languages. It is colour coded to
warn the user the potential hazards of the
Chemical
The default language is English and you may
change the language by just clicking on the
language menu on the right. Lets select Japanese
for an example

15Lets close this screen to move on to the
Emergency Response function
16To access to the Emergency Response Module, just
click on the relevant red flashing lights
17This brings you to the Emergency Module of the
chemical Benzene and we will go through the
different buttons starting with the First Aid
