Directive what is NSM (1)

• Member States shall ensure that the
  classification of high accident concentration
  sections and the classification of the safety of
  the road network in operation is carried out at
  least on the basis of three-yearly reviews of the
  operation of the road network.

Directive what is NSM (2)

• Member States shall ensure that sections showing
  higher priority according to the results of the
  ranking of high accident concentration sections
  and from network safety ranking are evaluated by
  expert teams by means of site visits.

Directive what is NSM (3)

• Member States shall ensure that remedial
  treatment is targeted to this sections.
• Priority shall be given to those measures
  presenting the highest benefit-cost ratio.
