    SLB Communications channels.

How to activate a new chapter site
  • The importance of the Welcome page
  • Why didnt Support activate ALL the sites?

17
How to Activate a Chapter
Why is the Welcome Page important?
  • Local SSA Chapters must first add content to the
    Welcome page.
  • This is what activates the local chapters site
    link.
  • Although anyone can add content, best practice
is for official SSA content to be determined by
the board and posted by the Web Coordinator.

18
How to Activate a Chapter
Why is the Welcome Page important?
  • Local SSA chapters are responsible for
  • Activating their chapter's area.
  • Migrating up-to-date content from the old site.
  • To activate local chapter pages, simply Add
    Content to the Welcome page.

19
How to Activate a Chapter
Why didnt Support activate ALL the sites at once?
  • Activating the Welcome page shows the local
    chapters level of commitment.
  • The decision was made by SSAW in coordination
    with SL Personnel.
