QA Process

• No single QAA
• Public universities QA is governed by the
  respective regulatory framework
• For private universities, formulations of an AC
  is under process
• Instances of private accreditation professional
  bodies, like BMDC, EI, etc.

Concerns of HEIs

• Session Jams
• So called T-S politics on the campus
• Lack of Security
• QA is compromised to revenue
• Admission of students not always on quality
  sometimes on money, Non-existence of any set
  admission criteria
• Dearth of qualified teachers and quality
  students.
• Inadequate support for Q. Research and faculty
  development (with minor exception)
• Lack of consultative interaction between teachers
  and students or student supervisors.
