Problem Statement

• The Door is not up to the standards associated
  with Caterpillar
• It impedes operators vision
• Needs to be sealed against weather
• Damaged when lift arm is raised while door is
  open
• Flimsy and not aesthetically pleasing

Design Guidelines

• Improve Visibility
• Improve sealing
• Must avoid damage from the lift arm
• Total cost not to exceed 300 Dollars
• Tooling Cost must not exceed 2000
• Must be retrofitable on all SSLs
• Cannot modify cab dimensions
• Must be aesthetically appealing

• Must be easy to install lt 1 hr installation
• Should be easy to remove lt 5 minutes
• Will be sold in kit form in addition to being
  installed at the factory.
