Who selects the Steering Committee?

• A new Steering Committee is selected by the old
  
• Steering Committee, subject to
• suggestions from a nominating committee
  consisting of members elected by constituencies
• consultation with members
• endorsement by members present at the GA

Process

• SC appointed an Interim Nominating Committee
  (INC)
• INC prepared a draft slate of nominees and sent
  to the Steering Committee for suggestions,
  objections, agreement
• INC contacted individual nominees and their
  organisations (MBOs) for agreement
• INC circulated the new SC as approved by the old
  SC to members
• New SC presented at the General Assembly for
  member endorsement

Who selects the Nominating Committee?

• Members from each constituency elect their
  representative to the Nominating Committee at the
  General Assembly
• The New Steering Committee appoints two
  additional members

Process

• INC prepared a draft slate of nominees 1 from
  each constituency
• INC consulted with the Steering Committee and
  representatives from constituencies
• INC contacted individual nominees and their
  organisations (MBOs) for agreement
• INC finalized the slate and circulated to members
• INC presents the nominees to the GA and asks if
  any further nominations from members
• Elections take place in Constituency Meetings by
  consensus or simple majority vote
