The programme recruits the most promising leaders
to join the annual cohort and immerses them in a
development experience that will increase each
individuals capacity to improve the state of the
world.

3Guiding Principles
Learning by Doing. Experience is the best
teacher. GLFs will be exposed to a variety of
leadership opportunities through their work
assignments, supported by classroom instruction.
Creative Thinking. The programme will stimulate
lateral thinking on possibilities for future
global, regional and industry agendas
Social Networks. GLFs will have the opportunity
to broaden and deepen their personal and
professional networks through their work
assignments and academic events.
Coach and be coached Fellows will work with
coaches/mentors as well as support one anothers
growth and development.
Self-Authoring. Leadership capabilities will
also be developed in a self-defined and self-led
manner within the context of the programme
framework
Leaders must be value and mission driven Fellows
will be recruited for their values and encouraged
to develop them.
