Isnt It Interesting????

• Many buildings in Charleston, SC have earthquake
  rods. These metal rods go through the building
  to hold it together. There are bolts on the ends
  of each rod that are visible on the outside walls
  of the buildings. Most rods were added after the
  earthquake of 1886.
