Introduction of Tianjin Women Business Incubator
(TWBI)

• Set up in 2000, jointly supported by UNDP?Aus Aid
  and Chinese government later World bank-Infodev
  also gave support
• TWBI is a non-profit organization and follows
  the market rules
• Till now, successfully incubated around 100
  start-ups of women entrepreneurs, created more
  than 6300 job opportunities.

Seeking the support from government

• Initiated by the seed money from the
  international organizations, local government and
  companies gave certain support for the TWBIs
  development.
• Local government officials regularly visited TWBC
  and explained the policies towards women
  entrepreneurs.

Experts gave consultation free of charge

• TWBI set up a expert volunteers team to help the
  women entrepreneurs. This year, 5 start-ups are
  given special support.

Giving Financial Support

• Women Micro-credit in the form of a group
  guarantee, and credit guarantee
• Government Micro-credit(23) the first year
  20,000 RMB loan and second year 30,000 RMB.
  Government will bear the interests, in the form
  of collateral guarantee or the third party giving
  guarantee
• Women Entrepreneurship Fund, raised by TWBI
  supports the winners of the Business Plan
  Competition.

SIYB Training System

• 1.GYB Generate your business and SYBStart your
  business. Total 46 programs were done. Government
  micro-credit program helps this training.
• 2. IYB Improve your business. The first program
  is to help university girl students familiar with
  the purchase process?
• 3.EYB Expand your business TWBI invited
  professionals from the bank to give consultation
  toward the women entrepreneurs.
