Exercise 5 Flash Animation

• Complete the Face Facts animation
• Make a simple html page to display your flash
  movie (.swf) file.
• On the html page, add a link to your .fla file
  and include your favorite thing about the project
  any difficulties encountered.

Exercise 5 Whats in the Folder

• Inside your ex5 folder
• Flash source file (.fla)
• Flash movie file (.swf)
• Html page with flash embedded and description
• Exercise 5 is due before 1159pm on Thursday 12/6
• LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
• Please send a link to your ex5 folder to
  dan_salimbene_at_yahoo.com with the subject EX5 for
  last name

How to add Flash in Dreamweaver Step 1

• In FLASH Export your Flash file as a .swf
• (File gt Export Movie)
• Open up Dreamweaver
• On the Common Insert Bar identify the Flash
  button

Step 2

• It is nearly identical to inserting an image.
• Click on the Flash icon
• Select your .swf file
• You have just inserted you flash file into an
  html page.
• NOTE When you upload, make sure both the html
  page and the flash file are uploaded, otherwise,
  it will not work.

• To test your movie, click the Play button on
  the properties inspector

• Flash Templates
• Flash has some built in templates that will help
  you create flash movies quicker.
• Among the template are a photo viewer, a bunch of
  banner ad templates, some presentation templates
  and more
• To check these out
• In Flash (File gt New From Template)
• Also, there are a couple Flash resources on the
