- There are two types of information in your

see. - 2. Information that you can let other APCSSLink
members see.
In this section, you will learn how to edit both
types of information. Please note that all

"vCard".)
At the bottom of the page, you will see a section
titled My Details. Right now, not much
information is here. You will soon learn how to
to add details so other members can know more
about you. (Again, this is optional.)

Edit tab. You are now in the Account Settings
sub-section of Edit. Aside from your photo, the
information you enter in this section is not
viewable by other members.

Hotmail, Yahoo or other similar email service.
This email address will be used to send you
notifications of new content and also to send you
instructions if you forget your password.

2. If you have a small photo of yourself, you can
upload it here. Please note only small file sizes
are allowed. You can upload a photo later if you
do not have access to one now.

next to Allow other users to contact me. 4. Click
Submit.

contains instructions on filling out this page.
13Editing Your Public Information, Part Two

time has run out, you may review the final
sections at your leisure later during the week.
29- Part Six
- Email Notification Settings
30Overview of Email Notification Settings
- Note You may skip over this section for now.
However, you may want to revisit this section at
a later date if you find you are receiving too
many email notifications. - With email notifications, you can receive an
email whenever a new piece of content is posted
to one of the groups you belong to. - This is both a blessing and a curse.
- On the positive side, you do not have to visit
APCSSLink to see if there is new content in your
groups. For example, there may only be new
content posted in your alumni group once every
couple of weeks. An email notification may be
very helpful in this instance. - On the negative side, in a particularly active
group, you may find the number of notifications
excessive. - Ultimately, you have the power to decide which
groups you receive email notifications for.
31Finding Your Email Notification Settings
- 1. At the top of any page, go to My ToolsgtAccount.
2. You are now on the View section of your
profile. Click on Edit.
3. On the Edit screen, scroll down to the middle
of the page to the section titled Organic groups
settings, Email Notifications.
32Changing Your Email Notification Settings
You have three options 1. Receive no email
notifications from the groups you belong to. 2.
Receive email notifications from all the groups
you belong to. 3. Select e-mail notifications on
a case-by-case basis depending on the group. This
enables you to choose to receive email
notifications from some groups and to turn off
notifications from other groups. (More info on
the following slide.)
Make a selection. Then go to the bottom of the
page and click Submit.
33Selective Email Notificaitons
This slide only applies to people that chose to
receive e-mail notifications on a case-by-case
basis depending on the group. If you chose to
Always or Never receive email notifications,
please skip to the next slide)
1. Go to the CCM 09-1 Homepage. In the Course
Menu, click on your Seminar Group.
2. On the right-hand side, in the section beneath
the Kokua Corner, click on my membership.
