Artistic Statement

• The things in life that are the most beautiful
  are not the prominent things that you see
  everyday, but the small, extra detailed things
  that you have to look hard to see. Things that
  are there for one second, but gone the next. My
  goal is to take those little fractions of a
  second and make them last forever.
• Its like my camera is a net that I can catch
  anything I want in and keep it forever. I use my
  net to seize the things that are only there for a
  moment because these are the types of things that
  wont be there the next day, or hour, or minute,
  or even second. I want to be able to see what is
  going on in the scene other than just glancing at
  it and then its gone. For me, its the little
  things that count.

Biography

• As a photographer, I enjoy taking pictures of my
  deepest passions. A couple things that I like and
  am capable of using in photography at Canyon
  Crest are sports and the outdoors, so this is
  what I focus on in my images. I also like to
  incorporate very vivid colors like Galen Rowell
  did. Also, although I have tried many types of
  shots, I have found that taking pictures of
  small, detailed things that are hard to see is
  what I enjoy. I started photography in my
  sophomore year at Canyon Crest and have always
  liked taking pictures of these things, even as a
  beginner. (I am a student, Teenager. Athlete.
