• Membership includes
• County Sports Partnership
• Oadby Wigston Borough Council
• Education (including the School Sports
  Partnership the University of Leicester)
• Voluntary Action for Oadby Wigston
• Primary Care Trust
• Wigston Local Policing Unit
• Connexions
• Leisure Connection Ltd (Managing the Leisure
  Facilities on behalf of OWBC)
• How might the LSA work with the LLP??

Oadby, Wigston South Wigston LSA

• Achievements
• Multi-sports programme 46 young people aged
  814 years took part in a variety of sports
  activities at Beauchamp College with links to
  local sports clubs
• Club Dance over 125 youngsters aged 3-16 years
  participated in the Club Dance initiative held at
  Parklands Leisure Centre
• Swim programme for people with special
  needs/disabilities, held at Wigston Swimming pool
  
• Kathak Dancing 30 young people participated in
  this traditional Indian Dance activity held at
  Guthlaxton College
• Student Volunteers Programme Year 12 student
  volunteers recruited from Beauchamp College and
  Guthlaxton College to assist with a variety of
  local sports activities under the direction of
  the lead sports coaches 
• Sports Club Directory the Oadby Wigston
  Directory published in April 2006, provides
  details of all sports clubs in the borough
• Teenage parents physical activity programme 15
  young parents participated in a variety of
  activities including post natal fitness, baby
  massage, diet exercise and visits to local
  leisure facilities

• Step in Sport 250 young people 9/11/06
• Youth Games

• PESSCL pilot 200k over 2 years
