Getting Started
  • Slide the power on.
  • Insert the floppy disk until it clicks.
  • To eject the disk, slide the Eject lock to the
    left, slide down the Disk Eject lever.

Recording Still Images
  • Set the Play/Still/Movie selector to Still
  • Using the MS/FD selector, select FD for Floppy
    Disk
  • Point the camera toward an object and frame it in
    the LCD screen.
  • Press and hold the shutter halfway down. Listen
    for the beep, look for the green flashing dot to
    stop flashing and become solid green.
  • Press the shutter down fully. Recording will
    appear on the LCD screen.

Using the Zoom Feature
  • If you want your subject to appear closer, press
    the T side of the Zoom for telephoto.
  • If you want the subject to appear farther away,
    press the W for wide-angle.
  • If you cant get a sharp focus on a close
    subject, slide the zoom lever to the W side, and
    move closer to the subject until the focus is
    sharp.

Playing Back Recorded Images on the Digital Camera
  • Set the Play/Still/Movie selector to Play.
  • Press the round Control button up to display the
    menu bar at the bottom of the LCD screen.
  • Use the left or right arrow on the Control button
    to select Index on the menu bar.
  • Press the up arrow on the Control button to
    select the forward and back arrow on the menu
    bar. Press the back arrow to see previous images
    on the disk.

Viewing All Images at Once on the 3.5 Floppy Disk
  • Set the Play/Still/Movie selector to Play.
  • Use the Control button to move to the word Index.
  • Select Index on the LCD screen. All recorded
    images will be displayed at once.
  • Individual pictures can be selected by using the
    Control buttons left and right arrows. Press
    the center of the Control button to make the
    image look larger.

Inserting a Digital Picture into a Microsoft
Application
  • Place the disk with pictures into the computers
    floppy disk drive.
  • Open the application that will receive the
    digital picture.
  • From the applications menu bar, pull down the
    INSERT menu, and click on PICTURE. Then chose
    FROM FILE.

  • In the drop-down LOOK IN menu, select 3 ½ (A)
    drive.
  • From the picture files, single-click to get a
    preview. Double-click (or click the INSERT
    button) to insert your selection.

  • Once in your document, the picture may be sized
    or moved in any way youd like
  • To move the picture, place the pointer over the
    picture so that you see four arrows. Click,
    hold, and drag.
  • To resize, click on the picture, place the
    pointer on any corner of the picture until you
    see two diagonal arrows. Click, hold, and drag
    to make it bigger or smaller

Formatting a Disk in the Camera
  • On the Menu bar, click File
  • Arrow up to Disk Tool
  • Arrow right and up to Format
  • Select Format by pressing the center of the menu
    button
  • Arrow up to OK and press center of menu button
