About Us

• Alpha Epsilon Delta has become the worlds
  largest Honor society exclusively serving
  pre-medical education, with a membership
  exceeding 144,000 in 186 chapters.
• We are the Texas Alpha chapter, the first AED in
  Texas.

Our Mission

• To encourage and recognize ecellence in
  pre-medical scholarship
• To stimulate an appreciation of the importance of
  pre-medical education
• To promote communication between medical and
  premedical students and educators
• To provide a forum for students with common
  interests
• To use its resources to benefit health
  organizations, charities, and the community.

• 3.2 science GPA
• 3.2 over-all GPA
• Complete online application

• Dues 40 local, 50 national, TOTAL 90
• Transcript
• Must have completed 45 course work hours to join
  nationals

How do I become a member?

• Must attend all meetings
• 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/24, 4/7, 4/21, 5/5
• You are allowed one excused absence, and 2
  unexcused. You will have to make up unexcused
  absences.
• Must attend Banquet in order to be inducted! 5/7
