Project Proposal
The Steps to be Undertaken
  • Obtaining IT Infrastructure details from all the
    Training Institutes.
  • Creating THREE (03) e-mail Groups with the
    existing operational e-mail ids.
  • E-Messaging among the Institutes.
  • To be filled the gaps of Hardware Software to
    enable institutes into IT Network.
  • Making institutes with INTERNET linkage.
  • Hosting Agri-Clinic WEBPAGE with total project
    inputs.
  • Linking and Creating the WebPages of the
    Institutes.
  • Training Curriculum material made available on
    WebPages.
  • Hosting online MIS Software to monitor
    Agri-prenuers.

Step 1 Obtaining IT Infrastructure details from
all the Training Institutes.
  • The following details were obtained from Training
  • Institutes
  • Computer Systems availability.
  • Computer Training Lab facility.
  • INTERNET connection availability.
  • Operation of e-mail facility.
  • WebPages of the Institute exists or Not.
  • IT in-charge official institute contact
    details.

Step 2 The THREE (03) e-mail Groups under
Operation.
  • Nodal Officers (Agri-clinics) Group.
  • 25 Officers out of 49 has e-mail ids.
  • IT in-charges Group.
  • 30 Officers out of 40 has e-mail ids.
  • Institute Official e-mail id Group.
  • 41 Centers out of 49 has e-mail ids.
  • Trail e-mail has sent to all to study operational
    ability.

Step 3 E-Messaging among the Institutes.
  • Just by a single e-mail can contact all Nodal
    Officers (Agri-clinics).
  • Similarly IT In-charge officials and Head of the
    Institutes through Official e-mail id.
  • Operational problems with existing e-mails
  • Most of the Officials and Institutes e-mails are
    of commercials sites.
  • Some of the e-mails are NOT operational.
  • If the official changes e-mail ids will change.

  • Solution
  • The Nodal Officer (Agri-clinic), IT in-charge
    Institute e-mail ids are to be of official ids.
  • These e-mail ids (POP-3/IMAP type) are created on
    proposed Agri-clinic WEBPAGE.
  • Three e-mail Groups will form with these ids.
  • This eliminates the process of changing e-mail id
    by change of official.

Step 4 5 IT Network H/W and S/W Gaps.
  • The Training Institutes basic Hardware such as a
    PC, Printer, UPS and a Modem to be made
    available.
  • The basic (legal) Software such as Windows, MS
    Office (with regional languages) and Anti-Virus
    are to be made available as per Training Center
    responsibility.
  • Dial-up INTERNET connection through telephone to
    be made available where ever required .

Step 6 7 Hosting Agri-clinic WEBPAGE.
  • Exclusive Agri-clinic and Agri-Business WEBPAGE
    will be hosted as MANAGE WebPage hosted.
  • WebPage by name www.agriclinic.net to be hosted
    at Mumbai Gateway.
  • The Success Stories in the form of Text, Audio,
    Video etc to be placed on the WebPages.
  • Creating Training Institutes WebPages who are NOT
    having linked to the Project WEBPAGE.

Step 8 Training Curriculum material made
available on WebPages.
  • The Electronic Study Material of the Training
    Curriculum formulated by MANAGE to be Hosted on
    the WEBPAGE .
  • The Content Experts Training material will be
    placed on WebPage to be made available to all the
    students undergoing training.
  • The Agri-clinic Publications in Digital format
    are to be hosted on the WebPage on regular basis.

Step 9 Hosting online MIS Software on WEBPAGE to
monitor Agri-preneurs .
  • Trainees monitoring system Software will be
    hosted on it.
  • The stages of the trainees from training to
    sustained Agri-preneur stage will be monitored
    automatically.
  • Customised reports will be available by click of
    a button to one and all by that instant of time.
  • The information of trainees will be fed through
    pre-designed templates by IT Coordinators.

CONCLUSIONS
  • All the Training Institutes lagging behind in IT
    services, will get benefited with minimal
    infrastructure.
  • Communication between Institutes will become a
    reality with speed and at NO excess cost.
  • Every training institute will have a WebPage to
    talk about their Institute activities.
  • Web enabled MIS application monitors all the
    trainees till they become Agri- preneurs.
  • IT plays a KEY role for implementing the project
    overall.
