Why Lifelong Learning?
  • Human learning is a combination of processes
    whereby whole persons construct experiences of
    situations and transform them into knowledge,
    skills, attitudes, beliefs, values, emotions and
    the senses, and integrate
  • the outcome into their own biographies. (Jarvis,
    2004111)
  • Lifelong learning refers to the continuous
    acquisition of knowledge, skills and
    understandings from the cradle to the grave
    (Delors, 1998).
