  • Mast S. a student of 4th std, was referred by the
    school for treatment of behavioral problems and
    frequent school absentees.
  • The mother of the child is also creating some
    difficulties for the class teachers by meeting
    the Principal and complaining about their
    handling. So teachers also were eager to solve
    his problem.

DEFINITION of Learning Disability
  • LD is a general term that refers to a
    heterogeneous group of disorders manifested by
    significant difficulties in the acquisition and
    use of listening, speaking, reading, writing,
    reasoning or mathematical abilities. These
    disorders are intrinsic to the individual,
    presumed to be due to central nervous system
    dysfunction, and may occur across the life span.
