• The very first airplane made in China is CJ5, a
  tail dragger primary trainer, licence production
  of Russian Yak18, with engine M11 160hp
• First CJ5 prototype produced in 1954 by Nanchang
  Aircraft Factory. It was named originally CJ54
  (Hongzhuan 501)
• 1954. 07. 03. 1715 CJ5 First flight by Mr.
  Xianglu DUAN and
• Mr. Jiaping DIAO
