  • The Need IMSN member has a client who has data
    centers throughout the US and doesnt have the
    geographic reach within their own organization  
  • The Task  To complete inventory of all their
    complete assets at each locations.  Service
    Partners were provided an Inventory Checklist to
    list all complete assets, where the assets were
    located, asset tag serial , model s
  • The Results  By leveraging the IMSN, each
    location was completed to satisfaction and the
    lead member was able to quickly complete the
    project that was outside their reach

  • The Need Install large, expensive plotters at
    various locations throughout the country to a
    partner who was frustrated with their current
    provider because the plotters often arrived with
    broken or missing parts. The lead provider
    doesnt have the geographic reach within their
    own organization
  • The Task Knowing they had the Ingram Micro
    Service Network behind them, they streamlined the
    process by drop-shipping the plotter to one of
    the IMSN partners first, for inspection
  • The Results By leveraging the network the
    new approach won the lead
    provider a new client, doubled
    their profits -- and transformed a simple
    repair business into ongoing hardware
    sales and
    installation services

  • The Need IMSN member had a large customer that
    notified them on a Thursday afternoon around 3
    p.m. that a computer virus had affected over 80
    locations. They needed to dispatch a technician
    to visit more than 80 sites in the next 24 hours
    to resolve the virus problem
  • The Task Leveraging the IMSN Project Deployment
    team, they were able to manage the entire process
    from the geo match to the completion of the call
  • The Results Within 24 hours they had over half
    the sites completed by Monday (only 16 business
    hours after initial call) all 80 sites were close
    to completion. Without the support of the IMSNs
    Project Deployment Team, they would not have been
    able to deliver the service needed to their
    customer.
