  • The main objective of this phase is to make a
    framework for Govt. of the Punjabs Data.

  • Total Project Cost 6 million out of 23.585

  • The main objective of this phase is to add six
    departmental databases to this central
    repository.
  • Project duration 2006-07 (18 months, January
    2006-June 2007)
  • Actual Completion Date April 20, 2008 (Because
    some departmental databases were not completed in
    June 2007)
  • Total Project Cost 18.082 Million
  • Total Expenditure 13.157 Million.

  • Background
  • Punjab Data warehouse Project is meant to
    provide Data Integration framework based on
    single and common repository. Data from all the
    departmental databases would be Extracted,
    Cleaned, Transformed and Loaded into the Data
    Warehouse. This consolidation of data will
    facilitate consistent and uniform view of the
    data from various departments thus, providing
    single version of the truth. This framework
    will be based on industry best practices for
    decision support system and business
    intelligence. The Data Warehouse project will
    encourage inter and intra department data
    analysis, monitoring of operational performance
    and enable future planning relating to these
    departments.

    databases which serve as the sources of raw data
