Judaism

• Origin Abraham in Ur heard a voice telling him
  to take his family and flocks and follow where
  the voice would lead. He is Patriarch of Judaism.
• Founding leaders Abraham was the founding
  father. Jacob was the father of the 12 tribes of
  Israel, Moses freed the Hebrew slaves from Egypt.
• Basic principles Ethical Monotheism with a code
  of moral behavior worship of only one God.
• One is usually born into Judaism, but some
  convert. The Jews were dispersed many times
  during history so they can be found all over the
  world.

Christianity

• Christianity started out the break away of
  Judis nearly 200 years ago.
• Jesus grew up in the practice of the Jewish
  religion.
• They worship 1 god which was god father and the
  son.

• The founding leader was Prophet Mohammed.
• The 5 pillars are iman or faith, salah or prayer,
  zakah the financial obligation upon Muslims, swam
  or fasting, and hajj or pilgrimage.
• Basic principles is faith, prayer, arms,
  fasting, and pilgrims.

Buddhism

• Buddhism developed in India
• The founding leader was Siddhartha.
• Basic principles founder, geographic, currently
  practicing, significant writing, places of
  worship, and significant religious people

Hinduism

• It originated in Indus and is over 3000 years
  old.
• It did not have a founder.
• The basic principles were birth death and
  rebirth.
• The pattern of social classes in Hinduism is
  called the castes system. The chart shows major
  divisions and contents of the system. Basic caste
  is called varna or color, sub caste or jati,
  birth, life, and rank is a tradition sub division
  of varna.

Confucianism

• It originated in 551-479b.c.e
• There founding leader is Confucius.
• There basic principles are retirement, writing,
  and comments on the classics.
• Confucius said many sayings and one was man who
  run in front of car and another is man who run
  behind car get exhausted .

• Taoism is originated in 440 c.e.
• Their founding leader was Lao-tzu.
• Taoism is the believe in finding the way or Dao
  of the universe.
• Taoist are firm believers of laughter and joy.
• The believe was yin for dark and yang was light
  side.
