Create Prospects from External Data

• New feature in scope for next major release.
• Extension of current external data load
  functionality will enable creation of prospect
  records in addition to Bio/Demo records.
• Support for TS 138 (EDI Standard for Prospective
  Student information) also in scope for next major
  release.

LSDAS Record Layout Changes

• Law School Admissions Council modified Law School
  Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) record layout for
  2000.
• Layout changes include support for new, expanded,
  and deflated fields, as well as data value
  changes.
• Updated LSDAS functionality for release 7.60
  posted to Customer Connection March 3, 2000.

Medical College Support Issues

• PeopleSoft is engaged in dialogue with the
  American Medical College Application Service
  (AMCAS) and our Medical College customers
• Modifying current MCAT external data load panels
  and processes to better reflect support for AMCAS
  data

Electronic Application Data

• Currently support loading and posting data in
  compliance with EDI standard for Application Data
  (TS 189)
• Partnership with CollegeNet to provide
  institutions with electronic application data.
• New data elements may be requested through the
  X12 Standards Council

Prospect Inquiries via the Internet

• Support for Internet-based Prospect Inquiries.
• Robust suite of new Internet functionality in
  next major release.
• Prospects will be able to request information and
  self-report
• Demographic and address data
• Proposed academic careers, programs, plans
• Test scores, education data, and academic
  interests
• You--not PeopleSoft--will determine which
  features to deploy over the Internet.

• Prospect and Applicant Delete Processes
• Provide options to delete individual prospect
  records, applications, and related 3Cs data
• Delete based on institution and career
• High-level personal data remains
• ID Delete process
• Deletes EmplID and personal data
• Does not delete if data exists on STDNT_CAREER
• Interrelation of processes needs improvement.
