  aircraft and reduce the maintenance burden of our
  Marines
• Develop the process for requirements

• Includes, spec development, budgeting,
  contracting, scheduling, and execution
• Develop performance metrics
• Develop policy and plans

USMC Aviation RESET Mission Use a special
technical inspection and repair program that
includes inspection cleaning, repair, and select
mandatory replacement of parts, in order to
enhance and sustain aircraft material condition
and reduce the maintenance burden on our Marines.

• to groom deploying A/C and
• optimize material condition
• 180 to 30 days prior to deployment
• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Establish CFTs to fix all Noted But
• Not Corrected (NBNC) discrepancies
• from DEPOT events

• Perform Material Condition
• Inspections (MCI) and Aircraft
• Service Period Adjustments (ASPA)
• in OIF to assess material condition of A/C
• Conduct Material Condition Reconstitution
• (MCR) to fix discrepancies from MCI/ASPA
• and perform in depth disassembly and
• cleaning of aircraft
• Performed in OIF by Contractor Field Team (CFT)
• CFT fixes all discrepancies found by DEPOT
