M-Commerce (1)
  • M-commerce is still within its development stages
and has yet to evolve to its full potential.
  • Mobile payment providers could deliberately offer
lower commission charges than those for credit
    cards
  • m-commerce could eventually remove our need for
    credit cards
  • The majority of the population is yet to be
educated about the subject, the services and
    opportunities m-commerce provides and the
    benefits it enables.

M-Commerce (2)
  • Credit cards are well established and it has
taken a period of time for this payment method to
become an everyday part of peoples lives in
    settling transactions.
  • In the interim, m-commerce payment methods will
continue to be a complementary payment mechanism
especially for micropayments. Time and education
    will be key.
  • SMS is the first step in the delivery of content
    and of approving m-payment transactions
  • MMS is the next stage in the evolution chain of
m-payments and obviously offers much greater
opportunities in terms of the range of content
that the user can purchase using a mobile device,
such as video clips or MP3s.
