    have disabilities by coordinating and providing
    support services that enable reasonable access to
    an education, employment, and university life.
  • To promote and develop technologies that enable
    independent living of persons with disabilities.

Some Recommendations for LUMS
  • Sidewalks one side should be safe should run
    the length of the road, ramps at intersections
  • Stairs grab-able handrails on both sides entire
    length, warning strips before stairs
  • Passageways clear and free from
    obstructions/constrictions
  • High contrast door handles, signs, doorways
  • Lighting extra lights inside and outside
    entrances, lights at intersections

Some Recommendations
  • Parking ad-hoc parking banned
  • Motorists restricted access to campus roads
  • Gardening/construction proper warnings if work
    is in progress
