There are short term and long term of effects of
alcohol. Short term effects include clumsiness
which may result in doing something you may
regret.

Long term effects
Long term overuse of alcohol can result in brain
damage and memory loss.It can cause high blood
pressure and risk of heart disease. It increases
chances of cancer and infectious
diseases. Overusing alcohol during pregnancy can
seriously harm the baby with deformity and brain
damage.
It can also result in obesity!!!!

Drink and Drive
Drink driving is illegal and not only that its
incredibly dangerous. By stepping behind the
wheel under the influence of alcohol you put not
only your own life at risk but also the
passengers in your car, other car drivers and
pedestrians lives at risk too. This is because
alcohol effects a persons coordination and
reaction time, it also makes people dizzy and
clumsy. There are strong laws against drink
driving and anyone caught doing it can receive a
prison sentence and be stripped of their driving
license.

Underage drinking
People that drink Alcohol before the age of 15
are four times more likely to develop alcohol
dependence at some time in their lives compared
with those who have their first drink at age 20
or older. Any shop found selling alcohol to kids
under 18 can be seriously prosecuted and any
child found drinking it by the police can be
arrested

So why does eveyone drink it then?
Some alcohol in small portions can reduce risk of
heart disease because of the fruit and vegetables
it contains. It helps people relax in small
intakes. Plus not many people realise just how
dangerous alcohol is. So now with the knowledge
you possess you must go out and warn people of
the dangers of alcohol!
