Cross Connect- When a Laptop connected to an
Access Point plugged into the Wired LAN
reconnects to a Near-by Access Point. If the
Laptop is statically configured for the Wired LAN
It will not gain access to the network. If the
Laptop is configured for DHCP is till possibly
gain access to the network automatically or
manually by closing the laptop and reopening it.
Proper solution is to Provide schools with
Airespace Access Points to prevent this. Or to
configure the laptop and Cart AP to a different
Access Point Names so that the Laptop does not
become confused.
