- Occupations are identified by Career Pathways,
student circles desired occupation - A total of 12 4-Year Graduation Plans available
on school district website - www.sbcisd.net
- Student is given a form to have parent/student
signatures - Registration for the upcoming year is completed
by utilizing the student ID and career pathway
form on file

- Administrative Procedures approved by all parties
- Eighth grade activities involve ninth grade
counselors visiting Middle school campuses - Interest assessment results reflect identified
occupation completed during Career Investigation
class
19Benefits of Graduation Plans
- Provide focus for all students in self selected
career field - Provide a coherent sequence of courses
- Provide for ease of scheduling (Academic and
elective courses) - Administrative overview of student enrollment by
program area - Removal of pre-registration activities for grades
10-12.
