• Went on his first tour in 1763 at the age of 7.
• Had his first music published at age 7.

• Became the Konzertmeister at the age of 18.
• Father sent him to seek higher posts.
• Went to Munich
• Spent four months in Mannheim

• 1874 First signs of syphilis appear
• Resulting in deafness
• 1883 his mental equilibrium was seriously
  disturbed
• 1884 April taken to the lunatic asylum where he
  died in May of 1884
