PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
  • - Translate basic cancer science and research
    into prevention and control applications for
    medical and community settings.
  • - Use innovative approaches and media technology
    to develop research-based programs,
    interventions, systems, networks, or products
    needed by the public or primary care
    professionals to reduce cancer risk or improve
    the quality of life of cancer survivors.

Applicants
  • To improve the potential for successful
    commercialization, all Phase II applicants must
    address
  • - organizational infrastructure issues
    Applicants must work with a site administrator
    to remove barriers to use
  • - long-term tracking - Applicants must build-in a
    tracking component to evaluate sales and product
    usage
  • - usability - Applicants must participant in
    usability testing at NCIs Technology Lab in
    addition to their independent usability testing.
