    the Districts Corp. Yard. The facility will
    provide centralized food service holding and
    preparation for distribution to satellite serving
    kitchens at each school site.

    Year. Punchlist work is currently underway.

  • This project is over budget. Value engineering
    is being completed during construction, however
    budget augmentation will be required at project
    closeout. Cost overage was the result of
    unfavorable bid climate.

    however the delay in DSA approval impacted the
    bid results. Due to the bid(s) received, the
    project was re-bid utilizing a phased
    construction schedule. Construction of Phase I
    was substantially complete for the start of the
    2004-2005 School Year. Phase II and Phase III
    are nearing completion. Punchlist work is
    scheduled to begin during the first week of
    December.

    this project on hold and re-bid it in October
    2004. The project has been bid and is currently
    underway.

    the bid results therefore, the decision was made
    put this project on hold and re-bid it in October
    2004. Building Abatement has been completed.
    This project has been bid and is currently
    underway.

    Additional monies will be contributed to this
    project from Scope D for new construction not
    included in the original Implementation Plan.
  • Schedule This project is currently under
    design. Anne Darling Elementary is open and
    functioning in Interim Housing on the campus. A
    supplementary report on this project was provided
    to the CBOC on September 13, 2004. Abatement of
    the Administration Building is complete. The
    Demolition package has been bid and demolition is
    scheduled to begin this month.

Synthetic Fields at High Schools (Gunderson,
Leland, Lincoln, Pioneer, San Jose and Willow
Glen High(s))

  • Scope Installation of new synthetic turf fields
    and track reconstruction miscellaneous paving and
    fencing at all six high school sites.
  • Total Budget 22,333,252
  • This project is under budget. Due to DSA
    (Department of State Architect) ADA requirements,
    stadium restrooms are being completed with budget
    savings on this project. 750,000 will be
    applied toward this scope.
  • Schedule Bids were received on this project on
    March 24. The project bids received were below
    the project estimate and budget. This project is
    currently underway. The Pioneer, Lincoln and
    Willow Glen fields are currently in use by the
    sites. The first game at Leland is scheduled
    for November 5. Gunderson and San Jose High are
    currently underway.

    being completed, the facility opened as planned

    is anticipated that this project will be complete
    by December 31, 2004.

    This transfer will bring the project within
    budget.
  • Schedule Construction of this project was
    substantially complete for the start of the
    2004-2005 School Year. Punchlist work is
    currently underway and expected to be complete by
    November 30, 2004.
