Introduction

• How humans can use the technology and be in
  command of it in order to help preserving the
  environment since it provides the biosphere, the
  area where people live, work, show their creative
  abilities. Any effect on nature as a result can
  affect humans as they are both interrelated. Any
  restructure of it is likely to have great
  negative effects on man and its future survival

the reasons that natural resources need to be
maintained

• overexploitation arising from the fact that
  people over consume and overproduce leading to
  the usage of more scarce resources
• overpopulation adds to this effect.

depletion of many non-renewable sources of energy
and pollution of the environment

• The earth is everyday polluted by thousands of
  tones of fertilizers and pesticides, the air is
  poisoned by industrial waste which has already
  let to the creation of the harmful acid rain and
  the greenhouse effect which threatens the
  ecological balance and the biodiversity is in
  danger
• Water supply is poisoned
• Wastes are dumped in landfills

  enables the building to acquire natural

  heat and modern technology helps to coordinate
  the different parts so that there is full
  cooperation between the different systems in
  creating auto climatic buildings

  its own for a source of energy and it can
  substitute the burning of coal

  electrical energy to preserve the carbon fuels

• ought to be emphasized since the disposable
  material that has no use to its owner can be
  modified so that to make similar products with
  the same consistency. In this way more needs can
  be satisfies and materials , like paper can be
  reused so large areas of forests could be saved
  the substitution of which is difficult and time
  consuming procedure.

e-mail

• can help further to the preserving of scarce
  resources. Nowadays people at a distance can
  communicate with each other with the pressing of
  a button thus saving time, paper and money.
  Additionally large quantities of information can
  be store in discs or in the hard disc of the
  computer thus saving large amounts of paper that
  would otherwise be needed for their storage.

• for example green hydrogen and bio diesel which
  can be used for fuel. The bio diesel is renewable
  and can be used for providing energy in vehicles
  and machines instead of petrol. It is also fully
  burnt so it releases less poisonous gases such as
  carbon monoxide and it is biodegradable as it is
  recycled by the microorganisms. Also there is the
  formation of cars that use hydrogen as an energy
  source

• can be used instead of fossil fuels to produce
  electrical energy and hydrogen since it is
  converted to biogas. Water can be used to convert
  biogas to hydrogen and then hydrogen can give
  high amounts of electrical energy.

• The use of new technologies in order to produce
  water encourage the preservation of water
  resources. There is the use of recycled water
  which is acquired by the use of industrial and
  city waste. As a result water can be made
  available to farmers and can be used to supply
  the ground levels. Furthermore desalinization is
  a process by which salt is removed from salt
  water usually by the process of distillation thus
  allowing drinkable water to be made.

Conclusion

• Through this whole research the main goal was to
  find out and to emphasize the need to preserve
  natural resources using the existing and new
  technology for future generations and to
  encourage the conception of environmental
  consciousness. If people do not learn to respect
  the environment then the dreadful consequences
  will affect them in the future.

Personal comments

• This research has been very useful as it enabled
  me to broaden my horizons over environmental
  issues and allowed me to find out many new
  things. I was informed about current issues that
  affect our future and I was inspired to transmit
  these ideas to my friends and relatives. I had to
  communicate with other people and this along with
  the assemble and assortment of data has helped me
  in increasing my knowledge for some things and
  interacting ability. I was motivated to search,
  look into and explore beyond the boundaries of my
  books and to increase the prospective over which
  I observed things. It was a unique experience
  that has taught me a lot as it has allowed me to
  discover new ideas.
