• What is Geography?Geography is the science of
  space and place on Earths surface. Its subject
  matter is the physical and human phenomena that
  make up the worlds environments and places. By
  its nature, geography is simultaneously global in
  perspective and multidisciplinary in approach.
  Modern geography seeks to understand any natural
  or human phenomenon that exhibits variation
  through space by a numerical modeling technology
  known as Geographic Information Systems
