2PARINT.ORG Background
About 75 peer-review journals in 15 languages
primarily devoted to the dissemination of
scholarly information concerning addiction and
its related social and health problems.
Researchers in adverse environments lack support
on choosing a journal, writing for peer-review
publications, dealing with referees reports.
Foreign language issues.
3PARINT.ORG Aims
Provision of guidance and support for people
working in low- and middle-income countries where
there is not a strong tradition of scholarly
reporting of research in peer-reviewed
media. Provide a useful resource for researchers
in higher-income regions including committed
individuals attempting to do quality studies in
institutions where research has a low profile.
4PARINT.ORG Aims
The content as planned in 2004 was to include the
following sections The ISAJE Authors Guide
to Publishing. For Editors section. For
Peer Reviewers section. Conferences
section. NIDA Pages. Links to sources of
financial support. Feedback and evaluation.
