ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The GPS JPO is responsible for developing and
  maintaining ICD-GPS-705
• Interface Control Contractor (ICC) drafts the ICD
• Interface Control Working Group (ICWG) negotiates
  contents of the ICD
• Configuration Control Board (CCB) approves final
  product
• Civil users are represented by the DOT Deputy
  Program Manager
• DOT is a member of the ICWG and CCB

PUBLIC REVIEW

• ICD-GPS-705 affects the entire GPS civil
  community
• Review and comments are essential!
• Comments will be consolidated and published with
  their preliminary dispositions
• Reviewing community can comment on preliminary
  dispositions

• An initial ICWG meeting is tentatively scheduled
  for 26 Jul 01
• Participants (contact DOT Deputy PM)
• Agenda will consist of issues needing community
  resolution
• Subsequent meetings scheduled as needed
• CZE will present ICD to JPO CCB for approval
