• Some objects float, or stay on top of a liquid.
  Others sink, or drop to the bottom of a liquid.

• You can not always guess which objects will sink
  or float.
• You must test them to find out.

Lets do an experiment!

• You will need
• Rock, feather, crayon, key
• Aquarium with water
• Paper and pencil to record data.

Lets begin the experiment!

• Gather data about the objects that will sink or
  float.
• Drop each object into the aquarium and record
  whether it did sink or floated.
