• This is a typical black basaltic rock in Hawaii
  due to
• Lava flows. Vesicular texture can be seen in air
  holes

Diamond Head Crater

• Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone near
  Honolulu, formed 200,000 years ago. It is now
  extinct.
