Ali After Retirement
Ali finally retired from boxing at the age of
thirty-nine. He earned more than all the
heavyweight champions before him put together by
far, but also he was known for his generosity. He
had to face serious health problems, but to make
it worse he had to deal with them all on his own.
Today, Ali walks slowly and his hands trembling.
He has Parkinsons Syndrome that affects the
brains ability to send messages to the muscles.
Also in 1999 he was telling the journalists that
he was planning a come back. Alis daughter,
Laila Ali, has become a professional boxer just
like her father.
